I am currently a PhD student working on the behavioural ecology of seabirds. My interests lie in trying to understand how individuals vary in how they behave, and how such variation may be linked to how successful they are. To measure behaviour I use biologging tools, in particular accelerometers, and have a fascination with how such tools can be used to gain insights into the daily lives of animals when they may be otherwise unobservable (i.e. seabirds at sea).
